I have sailed the late Regal Princess, the Caribbean Princess twice as well as the Grand Princess.  Tell me, how does the Crown compare.  From what I am told it compares quite favorably with the new additions.  What you do you think of the new additions?

The Crown/Emerald/Ruby are sister ships and in many ways are similar to the Caribbean Princess.  A lot of fun activities but can feel a little crowded at prime time.  We tend to like the smaller ships like the Sun/Dawn/Sea class and the Coral/Island class cruise ships slightly better.  We don't like the dining room arrangement on the Diamond/Sapphire Princess but the ships are fine.  We haven't sailed on the smaller R class ships yet.

Hi B40!  We went on the Grand right after you last year and this year we are going on the Crown after you!!  We are going 3/15/09.  I hope we love it as much as we loved the Grand Grin Grin  I think all the new additions look great.  I found a nice set of pics pics of a Crown trip on Flickr.  Now we just have to wait 10+ months!!
