Hi

We did Sapphire Princess NZ to Sydney last January and had a great time.  Loved Australia - the jury is out on NZ - I think it is a bit too much like UK weatherwise!!!  We plan to go back to Australia in a couple of years time and do a land-based tour, for a couple of months hopefully.  We plan to build it into a round the world ticket.  DH retires in December but we have plans in place for a couple of years, so Australia will come after that Grin

My avatar picture is Sapphire Princess in Auckland with DH gazing at in in awe Roll Eyes

Thanks Dorset Cruiser, yes we have been to NZ couple of times, NZ  is nice but in a time warp and poor weather, as you say like UK. last Sept it (NZ)  hit us on Regal Princess with 40 foot waves, but that is another story.  Well if you are ever down the South Coast of New South Wales, 250km south of Sydney, you had better call in..we retired 4 yrs ago and left Sydney for the peace and beauty of the South Coast.  Gods Country they call it, as is Dorset..we loved Poole and Swanage when in UK 2004.

Our next cruise is Perth to Sydney, on Sun Princess, 19c days, 8 ports round top of OZ, 26/6 to 14/7, plus another on SP booked in June next year, Perth - Malaya, Thailand, Singapore, Perth.

PS..take no notice of my jibes on CC..this site is more humane.
Cheers..Les Cool

Thanks Les

I always take what people say with a 'pinch of salt' so that's alright.

Next time you are in UK you should try Weymouth and Portland.  We are hosting the sailing events in 2012 but will make sure we are out of the country when they are actually on - might be able to rent out our house for a fortune and spend it on a cruise Grin Grin

We are off on Saturday on Sea Princess - 14 nights Barbados to Southampton.  Pray for a calm Atlantic although after the Tasman Sea, it will be a doddle.  Then the next one is on 9th January on Ruby Princess - 7 nights Western Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale with all our family to celebrate our Ruby Wedding (what else), my husband's 60th birthday and his retirement and it will also be used as my son's honeymoon after his wedding on 27th December Smiley  There will be 8 of us and we are being joined by 3 of our Canadian relatives so we are looking forward to a wonderful cruise Grin
