As the Cruise Director of the magnificent, new Ruby Princess, I'm thrilled to welcome you onboard! Part of your Princess experience includes a wealth of onboard entertainment and activities. We don't want you to miss a single event – so take a look below to see what's going on while you're onboard.

On behalf of the entire staff and crew of Ruby Princess, we look forward to welcoming you onboard and dazzling you during this special Princess escape.

Sincerely,

James Lay
Cruise Director - Ruby Princess

Production Shows

Your cruise will feature lavish production shows with one of the largest casts at sea in a setting that equals the best theaters ashore. Here's what you'll see:

     Broadway Ballroom
Presents the music of the Great White Way with a ballroom flair, pairing the songs of hit musicals with dance numbers ranging from foxtrot to rumba. The show also features the talents of the choreographer and costume designer from the TV hit “Dancing with the Stars.”

     Once Upon a Dream
Uses unique multidimensional cinematic projection to follow a dreamscape unlike anything seen at sea. The audience will accompany a young woman's journey as she dreams of everything from an English Garden Tea Party to singing camels in the desert, a trip through a waterfall and a brief nightmare before waking to a new day. Princess has once again raised the bar in offering our Passengers a great theatrical experience that's appropriate for all ages!

Guest Entertainers
Princess features a talented lineup of comedians, magicians and guest singers just waiting to entertain you each evening. Your cruise will feature the following entertainers:

John Joseph & Jonny B
The comedy and music of John Joseph and Jonny B.

James Michael
The zany comedy magic of James Michael.

Adbacadabra
The ultimate ABBA concert.

Jason Neistadt - Vocal Impressionist
From Dean Martin to Forrest Gump, Kermit the Frog to Louie Armstrong! Even Elvis Presley or Michael Jackson!!! You never know who may show up!

Rondell Sheridan - Comedian
Previous host of TV's "Show Me the Money," co-host of "Men are from Mars. Women are from Venus", Star of Nickelodeons Cousin Skeeter, as well as Disney's That's So Raven.

Kenny James - Vocalist
13-time Star Search winner and grand champion male vocalist.

Ray Coussins - Adagio Lounge Pianist
Former pianist for Frank Sinatra, and Shirley Bassey, entertainer Ray Coussins performs classics from Broadway to Pop, Classical to Jazz, with an inimitable style that is all his own.

Daniel Oliver
Piano lounge entertainer.

Vitalli & Daniel
Hand balancing and acrobatics.

Phil Tag - Comedian
As seen on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Lianna Hay
High Energy Hula Hoop Act.

Rob Alton
BMX Acrobat.

Strangelings
Living Statues. The Mariners: Are they real or are the statues?? These ancient rusty mariners might just creak into life. The Explorers: Two ice encrusted heroes striving against the elements. Will they ever find the South Pole? The Inspectors: The most officious officials you could ever meet. Be careful not to break their ludicrous rules.

Hodman Dodmanott & Sally Forth
A comic walkabout illusion featuring miniature creatures with big personalities.

Victoria and Pepo
Quick Change Artists.

Taking the Spotlight

Princess passengers can also be stars! Every cruise offers many opportunities to become a performer yourself. Plus, our clubs and lounges provide lively dance floors and the best music of yesterday and today.

70s Theme Night
Dust off your hip huggers and strap on your favorite platform shoes, it's time to shake your booty to your favorite 70's tunes. Join fellow passengers for a 'groovin' night of flower power and disco dancing. Keep on truckin!

Bell Bottoms or Hip Huggers  Leisure Suits  Mini-Skirts  Platform Shoes

Love Boat Legends
Where you become the star, this fun show brings guests up in front of a live audience and as they become transformed into famous artists of the past in a tongue-in-cheek musical karaoke tribute.

Princess Pop Star
Don't be shy – audition for Princess Pop Star and share your vocal talents with the world. If it's good it's great....when it's bad, it's better!

So You Wanna Be A RockStar?
This show takes the karaoke concept to the extreme. You may have dreamed of singing with a top notch band, or perhaps you've sang in the shower every morning - much to your neighbors' annoyance! We invite you to pick a tune from a set repertoire, then join our Show Band onstage in front of a live audience and realize your inner RockStar! They say everyone wants their 15 minutes of fame, but we've cut it down to 3 minutes to save you the time!

Oceans of Talent
We've opened up the floodgates to allow our passengers the once-in-a-lifetime chance to prove they've got talent - whether playing a musical instrument or showcasing your comedic timing. This show supports the great amateur talent night tradition. It's full steam ahead as our Cruise Staff bring a nautical (but nice!) flavor to the show and our guests let the wave of whimsy wash over them as they witness fellow passengers walking the proverbial performance plank.

Ballroom Blitz
Princess offers complimentary Ballroom Dance instruction and various venues to showcase your new talents. Bring your dancing shoes!

Country & Western Theme Night
Round up your favorite cowgirls and cowboys for this Country & Western party! Make sure you're ready to saddle up for this night of dancing and fun. Wear 'em if you've got 'em: Western jeans  Bandanas  Cowboy hats  Cowboy boots

Island Theme Night
Experience an evening in paradise at our Tropical Island Party! Join fellow passengers on deck while you hula to your favorite island songs or "hang loose" on this night of tropical fun.
Hawaiian Aloha Shirts  Hula Skirts  MuuMuus

50s Theme Night
Get ready to "Shake, Rattle and Roll" at this Fabulous 50's Party! Grab your best bobby socks and saddle shoes while you twist the night away in your favorite vintage fads and fashions:Poodle Skirts and Pony Tails  Leather Jackets  Cuffed Jeans

We received the same email about the happenings onboard. Looks like we will have a busy schedule. Will have to take along extra suitcases for the clothes for 50's night and 70's night, country night and island night. Going to be busy and have sore feet from dancing.

I was on the Almost Inaugural cruise and the entertainment listed above appeared to be there.  Once upon a dream was the best Princess stage show I have seen.  It was sort of a combo Alice in Wonderland and Nutcracker with great dancing and singing.  Wild video in the background on three screens.

James Lay and his sidekick Lisa did a good job managing all of the on-board happenings.
