We received our luggage tags and are ready to cruise. We are now waiting to see if Princess will refund the fuel surcharge.

Yes, we're sailing with you on Wednesday. Really looking forward to getting away for a few days.
And, wonder of wonders, just found out we've been upgraded to a suite!! That hasn't happened in a LONG time!

Hello Princess Cruiser; we just got off Island Princess and even though we received no notice, the fuel surcharge refund was minused off the shipboard account. Have a great cruise.
chanteur, an upgrade to a suite is almost unheard of; what catagory had you booked? I'm very happy for you (read jealous).

I'd love to say we were upgraded from Category M, inside--'cause it would make for a much better story!! LOL However, we had originally booked a Mini Suite. I think the Upgrade Fairy finally wised up & figured out, since we're Elite with Princess, they were going to have to give us the booze, canapes, & free laundry anyway--they may as well let us sleep in the suite.
