Does anyone know what the noise/motion factor is on the the Lido Deck staterooms.  We were thinking of booking L310 on an upcoming Caribbean cruise in Feb on the CB.  Any info would be appreciated!  Thanks   Roll Eyes

We were in L226 last month and had a great cruise.  L310 is a bit closer to some public areas so you may pick up some noise from the pool area on your balcony, and there will be a little bit more foot traffic outside your door as L310 is between the stairs/elevators and the pool area entrance, but they have two sets of double glass doors around the corner from L312 that keep the noise out of the hallway from the pool area.   The corridor was a lot quieter than I had initially expected.

As far as motion goes, we did not notice any motion at all.   I have to add, though, that our sailing that week was about the calmest that I have ever experienced.  With the exception on one evening, you would not even know that you were on a moving ship.   There were almost zero ship noises and no vibration like we have experienced lower and towards the aft end of the ship so you should not have to worry about that.

We enjoyed a rather relaxing and quiet room on the Lido deck with the lone exception of the folks next us talking really loud on a cell phone on departure day, but that can happen anywhere.   We enjoy the Lido deck rooms when available as your very close to several entertainment areas and are close enough to a stairway/elevator bank so that you can get down to the Promenade public areas fairly rapidly.

Enjoy your cruise.

I have talked to quite a few passengers who have had cabins on Lido Deck on Caribbean Princess and all similar ships, and only one said he sometimes heard poolside activity from his balcony during the day, and also said it didn't bother him--it just added to the festive cruise atmosphere.  And everybody loves the location.

As for motion, there will be slightly more up high like that, but not enought to bother you unless you are extremely sensitive to it.  And chances are, if it bothers you up there, it will bother you no matter where you are.
