We are staying one extra day in Copenhagen at the Marriott on points.  I am working on staying at the Renaissance in Ft. Lauderale on points but I'm a little shy of the points I need.  No matter.  DW just got a new Marriott Visa Rewards card which promises 20,000 points within 4 to 6 weeks after first purchase.  Also Marriott Visa (Chase Bank) gave her a free night which must be used within 6 months.   Angry  Marriott Rewards says I can combine my points with her points.

Speaking of points, we are now using a Princess Visa card for everything.  It gives a wonderful on board credit reward.  Also I bought a hundred shares of Carnival with also pays a very nice on board credit reward as well.  With all these rewards I'll be able to eat at the Princess specialty restaurants anytime I want.

I found two small books at B&N showing the 10 best things to do in Copenhagen and 10 best things to do in St. Petersburg.  We went ahead an prepaid for the cruise in full to freeze out outstanding Princess airfare quote.  Sunday we are lunching with friends who just returned from their Baltic cruise.   I'll share with you here any important tips I learn from them.

BTW:  Ken and Pat kenandpat@eastlink.ca have put together a great spreadsheet of all of the CC people on this cruise.  Email them for more information.

I'm beginning to work on my blog on this trip.  The Internet URL will be www.grammyjan.com

Princess repo cruises are great.  This year 32 days of cruising.  Next year 30 days.  Life is good.

I was told that seeing the summer palace in St. Petersburg is a must.  I read that a high speed train is about to start service between St. Petersburg and Moscow.  Still it's almost four hours to travel one way.

Princess is now charging about three thousand dollars more per person for a BD on this 28 day cruise than I paid.  Most balconys are wait listed.  My dear wife won't let me offer my tickets on ebay, even if I could.  The moral of this story is if you snooze, you lose.

And apparently a bargain! Well done... it's great to cruise with a deal.
