Will anyone else be on this fantastic cruise from Australia to New Zealand?
It takes in the sights and sounds of Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart (Tasmania), Fjordland Sounds (NZ), Dunedin, Christchurch, Tauranga and Auckland.
We did it in Feb 2008 and had a great time on the Sapphire Princess.
Looking forward to sailing on her sister ship this time.

Arrived back to a sunny Auckland yesterday.
The cruise was very enjoyable and even included a bomb scare at Port Melbourne.
After a nice wander around the city we returned to the port on the tram and DW headed back to the ship for her afternoon trivia fix whilst I headed for the The London pub for a quiet one.
Sitting outside, with a pint of Boags in hand, I noticed the street back to the port being barricaded off. Traffic was diverted and people were not allowed to enter the port area. A news helicopter flew overhead and Police emergency response trucks went in to the port.
DW joined me at the pub an hour later because no one was allowed on board until after 7pm.
There were a few passengers from the Sun Princess and Devonport (Tasmania) ferry there also but a lot of passengers were waiting outside the port moaning and groaning and rumor mongering.
I did not complain though. (Hic!) There was no actual threat but apparently the sniffer dogs did pick up a trace on some army uniforms in a suitcase.
Back to the cruise.
The coffee was good, the entertainment was good, the CD (Adam) was good and worked hard to put on a variety of entertainment options, the weather was good, and the ports visited were good, the crew were very good and the shows were excellent.
We loved cruise staffer Tyson's dry sense of humor - is he related to Bill Cosby?
This cruise was hard to fault so we arrived back feeling like we had a great vacation.
Well done Princess.
P.S. The Princess Only meet and greet had 100% attendance (me and my shadow).

Glad you had a nie time. We had freinds on there also and they will get back home tonight. We rad about the bomb scare, what a mess. Especially if you weren't on board when they cklosed the entry down. Glad it didn't put a damper on the cruise. Welcome back!
