Just out of curiosity, if you could name the next Princess ship after Ruby Princess, what would you christen it?

That's funny;  and about as likely as Zircon Princess.  Wink

There's the 'FINAL JACKPOT BINGO' Princess, and 'GOLD BY THE INCH' Princess to be considered.

Ah, the fun that mockery provides! Grin

Both good.  Since they are good at reusing names I wouldn't be surprised to see a new Regal Princess.

The Ruby Princess was almost named Opal Princess but at the very last moment the name was switched.  Since Princess Cruises has no more ships on order the name question is currently moot.

Oh, you can be sure there will be more ships; just none on order right now.  And I think Opal Princess has a nice ring to it.  I kind of like Turquoise Princess too, in keeping with the gem stone theme.

I'd also like to see the name Sky Princess again.

Opal? Actually, that's not-bad... could be Princess' next design leap, when the Grand-class starts getting
long-in-the-tooth.

I like Costal Princess; but then when they change its itinerary, they would have to rename it.  Just like Tahitian Princess, now that it is going to do more than the South Pacific, is being renamed Ocean Princess, taking the name from the sister of Sun, Dawn and Sea Princess that went to P&O.

Well, there is a Star, Dawn, and Sun Princess.

Can Moon Princess be too far behind?

There is also Pacific & Caribbean Princess.  Where is the Mediterranean and Atlantic Princess?

I don't know about Moon Princess;  but I think Atlantic Princess and Mediterranean Princess are strong contenders. Wink
