10 most popular destinations/trips for 2009

According to Grand Circle Corporation, which arranges travel for Americans 50 and older, its 10 most popular destinations/trips for 2009 to-date were:

• The Great Rivers of Europe
• Egypt & the Nile
• Botswana, Namibia & Zimbabwe
• The Romance of the Rhine
• Machu Picchu & the Galapagos
• India
• Unexplored Serengeti: Tanzania
• Eastern Europe & the Black Sea
• Australia, New Zealand & Fiji
• Vietnam

After visiting Nha Trang and Saigon last year on the Diamond Princess I would put Vietnam at the very bottom of my bucket list.

We cruised with Grand Circle Travel twice & absolutely loved both cruises.  We cruised "The Great Rivers of Europe" & "The Romance of the Rhine."  We also once toured Vietnam from the Star Princess in 2004.  I agree with Vietnam at the bottom of my bucket list. 

Elite Passenger, 268 days on Princess, 53 total cruises.

We've toured 4 times with Grand Circle Travel, and think they do a good job for a reasonable price.

We've not been to all their "10 Most Popular Destinations", so can't really comment on their order.
