US Customs & Border Protection Agency via it's site www.cbp.gov  has announced from 8 September 2010, citizens wishing to gain US entry via ESTA - Electronic Travel Authority - Visa Waver Programme, will have to pay a fee of US$14, payable with ESTA on line application. Shocked

i.e. this fee includes ESTA applications by Australians, Kiwis, Britons and other western countries listed under Visa Waiver Scheme.

I have no problems with that, I already got mine for next year.  After all Australia charges everybody to come here. Huh

Hi Les
I just saw this by chance.
We are going to the U.S. in October and I was going to sort out ESTA just prior to going but you have just saved us $28 in USD.
Thanks mate, I'll buy a bottle of wine with the proceeds and drink to your good health.
