Future Cruise Deposits - 4 years ONLY

Sometime in the past I posted that with a simple request Princess was allowing folks to extend the deadline of their FCCs.

They have a new rule that is NO EXTENSIONS.  SO, 4-years, that's it.   I just found this out today.

And what happens to the $100 deposit after the four years? Do they get to keep it or is it refunded?
I guessing you called Princess & tried to get an extension.

The money is refunded back to the credit card it was charged to.  If, for some reason that credit card has changed they will then send a check to your home address.  I have just recently had a few of them returned with no problem.  However I also just recently found out one must actually sail before the four years is up.  There was a time one only had to use it as a deposit on an upcoming cruise before the four years was up & sail after.
