We wil be in the Bahamas/Caribbean end of March and early April next year on both Star Princess and Westerdam, this is not the Hurricane season right?  Can we expect reasonable weather ?

First time in that area.  Thanks. Roll Eyes

It seems that after the end of Sept the number goes down real quick as the cooler waters come to the surface.....but you can never tell. We got caught in the "perfect storm" in late Oct '91 and never expected anything like it.  Shocked

After missing two ports because of bad weather it looks like the Crown Princess has managed to make another of her stops, today in Greenland.

Received an email from my friends on the Crown saying the Captain circled the port in Iceland for almost 6 hours before aborting the stop due to high winds.  Passengers could see all the buses & vans lined up waiting for the docking which did not take place.  Once the people on land were notified of that, they all began leaving the dock.  Quite chilly up there today.

Elite Passenger, 50+ cruises, 268 days.
