Suzy, booking multiple legs is something I hadn't thought of.  That's a GREAT idea IF you can get the same cabin for the entire trip AND the price is the same (Big IF).

The new detail schedules just popped up on the Princess.com web site.  Time for me to get to work on the unofficial daily schedule update.  This promises to be the mother of all updates.  Oh well,  I've got no life so it's time for me to get crackin'.

Just checked the 2012 Princess Europe/Med cruises, they seem a little less expensive than the same 2011 cruises.  I wonder why? Shocked

As am interested in doing this one...I was looking at Grand Princess, 4 Oct, 2011, Eastern Med compared to the same cruise on 2 May 2012.
The price for oceanview - 2012 is around $400 cheaper. Huh i.e. AU$3600 compared to AU$4000. Would these be 'earlybird prices?'

They are discounting the price by about 20% if booked by a certain date.

The mother of all Princess updates has not yet happened as of this post.  Princess should have dumped the entire schedule to their website but has not.  Princess has posted the daily details of a few new cruises but a large number are yet to show up.  I did notice that the the Sun Princess dry/wet dock scheduled for April 2012 has been replaced by additional Sun Princess cruises including a World cruise.

The Diamond Princess Australia/New Zealand late 2011 vs late 2012 cruise prices appear to be about the same in U.S. dollars.  We'll get a better feel for this as soon as Princess updates all of their schedules.

The Europe pricing may be affected by Princess moving more ships to Europe.

The update project is underway. I'm updating alphabetically and uploading ship by ship.  All of the ships beginning with the letter C plus Dawn are up now and I'm now working on Diamond.   BTW: The updated schedule so far shows that the Coral wet/dry dock gap on Sept 22 - Oct 2, 2012 is now filled in with cruises.  Estimated near term Japan deletes posted. Mazatlan deletes not yet posted.

Diamond Princess schedule is now up and it's a biggie.  Once again Princess messed up the Diamond Pacific crossing schedule for the 9/22/2012 Whittier to Beijing repo cruise.  They left out a sea day on 9/29/2012.  I was closely watching for their repeat error and caught it.  Emerald schedule has now been updated.  The only surprise is that all during the summer of 2012 the Emerald is only cruising the Baltic Berlin route.

Golden Princess schedule is now up.

Grand Princess schedule is now up and I'm blown away by what a gypsy this ship will be in 2012 and 2013.  I suggest a 2013 leisurly Ft Lauderdale to San Francisco around the Southern tip of South America B2B with a San Francisco to Hawaii to San Francisco.  The ship stops in Puerto Montt, Chile, a fly fisherman's paradise and one of my world favorites for its unspoiled beauty.  Puerto Montt has been off of the Princess schedule for some time probably due to it having a joke of a tender dock.

This updated schedule is a work in progress and it's taking extra time to create due to the huge amount of new Princess data.  I'll keep you up-to-date on my progress here in this thread.

Island Princess schedule is up.  Now back to bed at 2:35 am.

The Ocean Princess schedule has been updated.  The Ocean Princess dry/wet dock for Dec. 2012 has been filled in with a cruise but there is now a gap in the schedule in October 2012.  In mid spring 2013 the Ocean Princess itinerary dates do no match so I have left a couple of Ocean Princess cruises off the schedule.  How do I know?  I create a temporary column that you don't see and count the days to see if the days will match the Princess web site.  Once again Princess miscounted.  Hopefully they will straighten it out sometime.  What seems to confuse them the most is when a ship crosses the International date line going East.

The Pacific Princess schedule is now up.

The Ruby Princess schedule is now up.  If you love cruises that repeat week after week you'll love the Ruby schedule.

Sapphire Princess schedule has been updated.  Sea, Star and Sun coming up.  Star Princess Nov 14 - Dec 8 cruises have been deleted from the unofficial schedule.  Good catch.  Princess has been changing some of the wet/dry dock schedules.   Embarrassed

Sea Princess is now up.

Star Princess Schedule is now up with just the Sun to go up tomorrow.

All Summer long in 2012 the Star Princess is sailing a 7 day short route to coastal Alaska ports at VERY high introductory Internet pricing.  You will only get a brief look at Tracy Arm Fjord.  I say you should skip this itinerary and sail to or from Whittier, Alaska on the Coral or Island Princess, which many think are the best Princess ships.
