How to maximize your on board credits on a long cruise

IF your one long cruise is actually two or more shorter cruises hooked together by Princess AND the price on the long cruise equals the price on the two or more shorter cruises AND you can get the same cabin number AND you have future cruise credits (FCC's) you could SAVE money by booking the two or more shorter cruises rather than the longer one. Why? Veterans credit and FCCs.
Veterans onboard credit amount is $50 for cruises 6 days or less, $100 for cruises of 7-13 days, or $250 for cruises of 14 days or longer, offered on a per stateroom basis.
Future Cruise Credit (FCC) 1st and 2nd Passenger Only 7-9 days Interior $25pp Oceanview $50pp, 10-15 days Interior $75pp Oceanview $100pp, 16+ days Interior $125pp Oceanview $150pp.
Also if you own 100 shares or more of Carnival stock that's yet another on board credit - per cruise.
Don't worry about the Internet credit because it will reset on its own at the end of each short cruise no matter how you book.
P.S. Two cruises or more get you closer to Elite and Super Elite than one cruise.

Thanks Mike, plus if you are Elite, you will get your mini bar stocked at the start of each B2B. Like we did in 2009, Med/British Isles on Crown.
But then again I notice most long cruises are cheaper if you buy the big one, rather than B2B, for us Aussies anyway.
