What is the ball park figure for disembark at LA Cruise Terminal, San Pedro.  By this I mean, getting through Customs/Immigration?  1 hour - 2 hours?

I have a tour to pick up at San Pedro at 11am, following disembarking Coral.

I don't see a problem if you are one of the first to disembark, assuming your papers are in order.  To get a better opinion call:

You should have time to spare.  I've disembarked in San Pedro many times and the ship is cleared and the first group is called usually by 7:30- 8:00 a.m.; from gangway to outside the terminal takes about an hour.   I'm always in one of the last groups off because I make independent arrangements (I live in the area) and I'm always at the SuperShuttle stand by 10:00.

Thanks, we are getting picked up by LA City Tours at the Cruise Terminal, 11am, LA Tour, then drop off at LAX 5pm for a 10pm Qantas flighjt to Sydney.  So no rush for us off the ship, might be like you, late breakfast, and in the last groups off the ship around 9.30am, gives us 1.5 hours to get through customs/immigration etc.

An hour-and-a-half is perfect; that even gives you a little cushion.  Have a wonderful cruise and a safe trip home.

Thanks for the information and kind wishes Captain.  We leave here on October 4 to Rome and on to Civitevecchia to board Ruby, to Fort Lauderdale, couple of nights at Holiday Inn, FL, then board Coral for Panama Canal to LA - San Pedro.

That is truly a "dream" vacation.  I've done the Ft. Lauderdale to L.A. twice, Sea Princess in 2000 and Island Princess in 2008, but never as an encore to a Mediterranean/Transatlantic cruise.  You are my hero.

Thanks Captain Mattox, an advenure ! not a vacation, I reckon when you retire every day you are on a 'vacation.'  Just lucky the Panama Canal cruise on Coral, fitted in pretty well with arrival of Ruby.
Getting value from our airplane fare !  We fly Sydney to Rome on Thai Airways via Bangkok, then fly out of LAX on Qantas back to Sydney.

Right you are; truly and adventure.  I've been retired for three years now and not too much of it has seemed like a vacation; we've never been busier.  Only difference is WE get to decide what gets our attention daily  Smiley.
