I'm on the Sapphire Princess right now.  Princess future cruise person Lindsay says Elites don't get priority disembarkation (WRONG).  Also says Princess is sending me a letter and cancelling my fully paid for San Pedro to LAX transfer because my LAX flight is at 11:30 am.  Can anyone tell me what's up with that.

The only thing I can think of is they don't have any buses going that early (which is hard to imagine) or your flight is earlier than their suggested 12:30.  What's the point of sending you a letter while you're on the ship  Huh

Just a suggestion:  go straight to the SuperShuttle/Prime Time shuttle staging area--it's right outside the terminal.  Just tell them you want to go to LAX; that's where 90% of them are going anyway; you don't need a reservation.

Princess on board back office person in charge says I will not be receiving "the letter" and my transfer is valid.  They just won't guarantee the LAX arrival time.  I never asked for a guarantee.  I still can't believe that the Future Cruise person on this ship, who claims to have been with Princess for five years, is so completely misinformed as well as being so strongly opinionated.

I believe it.  There are always a few of those around. Angry

Onboard Princess rep. has retrieved my transfers and now I wait and wait and wait.  Funny thing is that they still have a red bag tag group for early plane schedules.    What Princess has made absolutely clear to me is that the Elite priority disembarkation privileges DOES NOT APPLY to Elites with Princess airport transfers.  Princess really means business on this.

Maybe they don't have enough Elites with early flights to warrant dedicating a but to them (Huh).

I nominated our disembark time at San Pedro, wanted 9am, which I got.  Jut wrote it down on disembark form.  Easy getting off and through the system, (30 minutes) even with photo and prints taken, as we are ALIENS. Grin

The port in San Pedro is pretty well organized now.  It has not always been thus.
