Have you noticed that the little embarkation cookies that were placed in your cabin before you arrived are no more?

My last Princess cruise was April/May of this year & cookies were there at that time...

Not too disappointed; they were always a little stale.

I can't remember the last time we got cookies in the cabin although we also didn't want them & headed straight to the buffet.
I also dislike it when they give us a big bowl of assorted fruit since we never eat much of it. We'd rather just pick out exactly what we want from the buffet bring it back to the cabin. They don't seem to care about wasting any food.

I have noticed Princess takes back small things like the few cookies from each cabin at embarkation but there seems to be so much waste in several other food area's.  They are not consistant on where to cut waste & therefore cost...

I know it's not real popular but shutting down the buffet after 11 or 12 each night much save a bundle.

And eliminating all buffet wait staff before 6 am and shutting down breakfast at 9:30 am must be saving Princess big bucks.  Their trend toward making the buffet experience entirely self service seems to be on its way back.

Just off Ruby and Croal and no cookies. Grin  However, milk and cookies in the afternoon plus afternoon tea trolley on prom deck. Cheesy
