Have you noticed that during muster drill Princess staff never take questions?  Questions like:

  • What survival craft will I go to?
  • You say you work in the boutique.  Do you know how to lower the survival craft?
  • If the ship is leaning heavily to one side how will all of the passengers get off the ship?
  • You say you work in the photo gallery.  Do you know how to start the tender craft motor and steer the tender?
  • If the crew can't get to my muster station then what do I do?
  • If passengers can't get to their cabin how many spare life jackets does this muster station have?
  • Will women and children [and the elderly] be put on the survival craft first
  • If I see someone [a drunk] fall off the ship at 2 am where will I find an officer to tell?

True Mike,

Further..We were on Ruby and Coral in Oct/Nov, at Muster Drill, Lifeboat Drill, Emergency Drill, whatever, the assigned crew members came around the boat stations (like to call them that) with these hand held devices, asking for cabin numbers, apparently it is their 'new tool' to track the pax at the stations.  A nice looking dancer asked me for my cabin number, wishful thinking. Roll Eyes Got into trouble with the 'Boss' again. Grin Shocked
