I can't agree with these two points.

"A cruise ship is not a more risky environment than being shoreside."

"A cruise ship in many ways is a less risky environment for a [virus to] spread than being shoreside."

I've never gotten Noro being land side. Onece it starts on a ship it spreads like wildfire. That's not even as contagious as the coronavirus.
Maybe he lives differently than most folks. Other than a few shopping trips to the grocery stores lately at 7 AM my contact with others is usually pretty limited.
