Nothing new....It's to be expected going on a Princess tour.
It's become hard to find any tour less than $100 p/p lately.

Or the Crown.
After sailing on the sips with faster internet it felt like going back to a dial up connection.

No one I talked to last week on the Crown seemed to want to talk about it.   Grin

I guess they didn't read what time they were supposed to be aboard. To bad, they learn for next time.

I knew she looked familiar. I just saw her at the Captains most traveled party on the Regal in Jan.

Not to say that it wasn't a good job but what choice did the Captain really have after being notified that they were in distress?
Pass them by & not pick them up?

Sounds great.
It's quite quick for a cruise ship.
9  Princess Cruising / Cruising Tips Chatter / Re: You Could Be Denied Entry Into Canada for This Reason Read more at: https://www on: March 01, 2019, 01:47:43 PM
Do they really check out people that closely entering Canada?
10  Princess Cruising / Cruising Tips Chatter / Re: State Department Reissues Bahamas Travel Warning on: March 01, 2019, 01:42:56 PM
I suppose the warning by RCI spurred them to do something similar instead of ignoring it as they have in the past.
This has been going on for years now & it's about time the local government does something about it.

It's overrated...so far.
13  Princess Cruising / Cruising Tips Chatter / Re: How to avoid bad cabins on: February 09, 2019, 08:22:51 AM
Against my better judgement we decided to return to the Caribbean in March one more time before the beginning of the summer season on the Crown Princess. We selected an obstructed view cabin which isn't typical for us on Emerald deck.
I know there's no problem with the location but I've got my fingers crossed about the AC being sufficient. Undecided
Time will tell.
14  Princess Cruising / Cruising Chatter / Re: Carnival Cruise Line Adding New 3D X-Ray Machines at Cruise Ports on: February 09, 2019, 08:07:29 AM
From what I gather is, that it lets them see the bottle in the suit case with a viewer.
So if the liquor isn't in it's original bottle but disguised in some fashion they'll see they still won't be able to know what's in the container.
Sounds like another scare tactic to increase profits once more.
Maybe they should resort to alcohol sniffing dogs ??  Wink
Although if there's any scent of alcohol in the suitcase (mouthwash) we all might be stopped going through the line.  Cheesy
15  Princess Cruising / Cruising Chatter / Re: Treating His Wife ‘Like Baggage’ After She Had Stroke On Board on: February 09, 2019, 07:57:36 AM
He expected them to put her on a tender & go back to Ft Lauderdale?
Somehow I can't imagine a tender traveling that distance.
Wouldn't she be better off on the ship even with limited doctor supervision?
