"LOS ANGELES – A Studio City man alleges he was injured in a cruise ship's lounge because of spilled drinks on a dance floor.

Anthony Weathington filed a complaint on Feb. 14 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Princess Cruise Lines LTD alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 17, 2015, he suffered injuries to his ankle from stepping on liquids and debris that were left on a lounge floor on the defendant's ship. The plaintiff holds Princess Cruise Lines LTD responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to warn the plaintiff regarding the hazardous condition of the dance floor."

Good luck with this.  He would have to prove that Princess knew about the spill AND neglected to clean it up or put out appropriate signage in a timely manner.  He would have to provide an eye-witness to the fact that a Princess employee became aware of the spill and did nothing.
