"The law firm believes the 16,000 passengers sickened during the voyages could receive compensation from the company. Thomas Janson of Shine Lawyers said it is investigating how the cruise ship failed to properly sanitize the vessel before each trip. The firm was also told crew members only had two hours to clean the ship before the next voyage, according to the Miami Herald.

“That’s manifestly inadequate to sanitize a ship that’s the size of a skyscraper,” Janson said."

Especially since people use the rest rooms and do not wash up afterwards.  They also do not use the sanitizer around the ship. Put people do not except responsibility for the things they do.

Not unknown for the crew to bring germs on board, some of them are not too hygienic around the ship either.   Seen a couple of them in men's restrooms not washing hands.  So not always the pax who bring on the noro.

I doubt this class action will get anywhere. Huh

As for sanitising the Sun Princess...This ship operates from Sydney, normally arrives in around 6am, pax are off by 8.30am, boarding commences around 12.30pm.  Sure 4 hours is not a lot of cleaning time, but that's the method of operation across most lines, not just Princess. Huh Roll Eyes   Sanitising of a shop is ongoing though, one sees the guys around the ship wiping down stair rails, cleaning bathrooms etc.

They just had an outbreak of Noro at the Olympics with the security staff. No one suing them.

IMHO airport and airplanes are probably the main cause of Noro transmission...
