MarineTraffic.com reports that Sapphire Princess is currently sailing at 13 knots.  Ship bridge camera description says Sapphire Princess is now bound for Whittier.  Previous schedule said that they will dock on Saturday.  It appears that Glacier Bay and College Fjord could be now off the schedule.

“Please be advised that due to restrictions affecting cruise ships in Bar Harbor, Maine, Enchanted Princess will no longer call to Bar Harbor,” the email notification read. “Instead, we will now call to Portland, Maine.”

Main causes appear to be in no particular order:  drunks, fights, suicides and casino debts.  Only occasionally it was the result of an accident.

"QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – A man fell overboard on a cruise ship and into the East River in Queens Sunday night, according to the NYPD.

It happened around 10:24 p.m. in the area of Newtown Creek and 54th Avenue. The 36-year-old man fell off of the Majestic Princess cruise ship, according to authorities."
