"Cruisers wishing to cancel a Princess sailing will have less time to do so if they want to get any of their money back. Starting March 4, Princess is imposing a 100% cancellation fee starting at 30 days prior to sailing. The current policy is 14 days before the cruise.

Most other cancellation fee times have also changed, giving cruisers less time to get more of their money back."

The Points Guy and I vote that Princess Pizza is not the best pizza at sea.

"Princess Cruises passengers have expressed their frustration over changes to forthcoming cruises due to ongoing global conflicts.

Two world cruises set to go ahead later this year have been rerouted, with customers given non-refundable future cruise and on board credits as compensation.

The Island Princess’ World Cruise, which departed from Los Angeles on January 18, is no longer visiting the Middle East or Asia while the Coral Princess, scheduled to depart Sydney on April 30, will no longer visit Asia, the Middle East or the Mediterranean."

"Before the beginning of the trial in October 2022, Carnival offered to settle the case for $15 million. But the offer was rejected by the passengers who returned with a counter offer of $69 million."

"Karpik argued it was reasonable to reject Carnival’s settlement offer due to Shine’s legal costs equating to around $5.85 million and $6.75 million. She argued it would have left passengers with only a “relatively modest amount”.

"Justice Stewart though, said it was currently impossible to determine how much Carnival would have to pay.

There was no way to assess how many passengers were eligible for compensation, and the size of their claims."
