Good information. I imagine it depends on the type and age of the TV in the cabin. Watching on a laptop is not the best experience, with it's limited audio capability.
Selecting the correct input from the TV menu isn't an option I was able to find on the Ruby, but these are likely older sets than the Enchanted.
Another less pressing item is the Captains and Cruise Directors announcements. It would be wonderful if Princess had a transcription of the announcements on
one of the channels... something that would scroll off in a day or so. I've missed many of these, and likely one or two were actually something I wish I hadn't missed.

On the Ruby last Nov, it was possible to switch inputs using the toggle switch at the bottom of the wall mounted TV. Similar to the Enchanted.

Obviously it's in Princess' interest to minimize the perks associated with a long cruise, but booking such a cruise as a series would yield significantly more rewards for a passenger.
Princess might want to rethink how that upsets passengers.
Not that I would ever be that interested in a world cruise but something tells me that pricing the complete trip as a series of trips would be significantly higher.

I would think that someone should have at least photoshopped the rust stains out of that photo.   ::)

The way Princess is lately, I don't think they care in the least.  :-X

I thought about using the cabin tv for a laptop, and thought unplugging the TV from the network cable would be a good start. Not sure if the wall mounted sets have hdmi ports or not.

I'm not sure about the Sun but the Enchanted definitely does. You don't have to disconnect it from the network but just switch the TV input to HDMI.
The hardest part is to get your hand behind the TV to plug in the cable.
I use it for my movies fed directly from a hard drive. (M4V format)

Now all they have to do is make thing easier to connect your devices to their TV without having to jump through hoops to connect.

Sounds as though they really dislike cruise ships visiting their town.

8
Knowing Princess they'll probably start selling tickets beforehand.  ::)

What are the show times for the dome?
I can't believe people are standing there for almost 2 hours to get in.
If so, we normally eat early so that means we'll have to line up at 5 PM of so & skip dinner until after the performance.

While we hardly utilize the casino on any of their ships you would think by this time they could build one that could control the smoke problems. It seems to have gotten worse with as time goes on, especially with the newer ships.

11
Any yet they continue to sell them.
Where does it end?

It is different.
Not sure if we'll like it or not.

That's one ship I've never sailed on.
I don't think it's ever been to Port Everglades.

Cruising Tips Chatter / Re: Will I get seasick on a cruise?

I can remember when they used to hand out seasick pills at the PSD.
I doubt if they still do it but I'm almost certain they'll sell you some.  ::)

Yea, it took me a while but I finally applied for another card from my local bank which  gave me cell phone insurance if I paid my cell bill every month using the card.
It only pays 2 % on all purchases but it's for everything not only cruises.
I'm just waiting to pay off our next cruise so I can get the double credit to add to my existing points & dump them.
