The server on Princess Chatter is only showing part of the picture so the distortion in the original on the story link may be a poor rendering.

We have a b2b2b booked for the fall, in an Oceanview cabin. From what I've seen of the amenities for this cabin, it's quite pleasant.
I will be exploring like a kid on the new ship... looking forward to this cruise immensely.

Sapphire Princess Chatter / Re: Propulsion issues

This must be a large disappointment for passengers on this voyage. Perhaps this will impact many future cruises on the Sapphire. These things do happen, and hopefully repairs are effected quickly.

Not surprising given the impact on marine life.

Is that an odd photograph, or does anyone else see a particularly noticeable bend in the exterior balcony floors? Looks to be through all floors from deck 7 upward, about where the 600 series of cabins changes to the 700's, and does appear to include Horizon Court. It 'must' be the photograph.  :-\

"This cruise ship isn’t a floating retirement village by any means with over 30 different restaurant and bar locations, a multi-storey spa and more entertainment options than you can visit in the time available."

"Visitors to a tiny beach in Cornwall were greeted with the surreal sight of a giant 113,000 tonnes cruise ship today (Thursday, May 16). Too big to dock in the harbour, the 952ft Caribbean Princess dropped its anchor off a small cove on the Roseland peninsula, using St Anthony Head to shelter from strong south-easterly winds whilst it tendered its passengers to Falmouth."

"With the headland offering some shelter from the south-easterly winds, the cruise ship was guided into position and dropped anchor."
