In a notification sent to passengers, a spokesperson said: “Please be advised that due to recent restrictions on cruise ships in Rockland, Maine, Enchanted Princess will no longer call to Rockland on Tuesday, September 3 and will instead call to Eastport, Maine.

“Additionally, we will no longer call at Newport, Rhode Island on Sunday, September 1 and will instead spend the day at sea.”

MarineTraffic.com reports that Sapphire Princess is currently sailing at 13 knots.  Ship bridge camera description says Sapphire Princess is now bound for Whittier.  Previous schedule said that they will dock on Saturday.  It appears that Glacier Bay and College Fjord could be now off the schedule. We've heard that passengers will receive a big part of their fare refunded along with a large FCC.

Main causes appear to be in no particular order:  drunks, fights, suicides and casino debts.  Only occasionally it was the result of an accident.
