Part of the problem is created with Princess. Doesn't seem too long ago the soft drink package was in the 30 dollar range for a week, and included a Princess branded thermal glass (of which I still have several). That was reasonable, but the newer "Per Day" methodology in costing out these packages is encouraging more carts loaded with sundries.
The  times... they are a changing'.

I still remember seeing a passenger family pulling a two wheeled cart with stacked cases of soft drinks through the Princess embarkation lounge.

This sounds great, but I'm sure there's a significant cost. I have no problem with this program, since it actually doesn't deprive other passengers.
The other caveat is that the appearance of a reemerging 1st class, 2nd Class, and Steerage classification to Princess Cruises, or at least there's an
unspoken undertone to all of these pay to play privilege levels.

Aboard Sun Princess, the Sanctuary Club is now reserved exclusively for Sanctuary Collection guests who access the private entry via their Princess Medallion.

"Latter said aisle seats in the Princess Theater do not have armrests "to allow for more space"

Not that I recall, unless he's talking about handicapped seating.

Guess it's a good thing I no longer bring 20 cans of beer onboard.  :-X

"Resident Marc Moore said: "The road is not big enough for the traffic that is coming here. It rattles our house. It literally rattles the glasses sitting on the shelf.""

Maybe they should dedicate some of their port charges to fix their roads?
