Good information. I imagine it depends on the type and age of the TV in the cabin. Watching on a laptop is not the best experience, with it's limited audio capability.
Selecting the correct input from the TV menu isn't an option I was able to find on the Ruby, but these are likely older sets than the Enchanted.
Another less pressing item is the Captains and Cruise Directors announcements. It would be wonderful if Princess had a transcription of the announcements on
one of the channels... something that would scroll off in a day or so. I've missed many of these, and likely one or two were actually something I wish I hadn't missed.
Obviously it's in Princess' interest to minimize the perks associated with a long cruise, but booking such a cruise as a series would yield significantly more rewards for a passenger.Not that I would ever be that interested in a world cruise but something tells me that pricing the complete trip as a series of trips would be significantly higher.
Princess might want to rethink how that upsets passengers.
