The average Director base salary at Princess Cruise Lines is $122K per year. The average additional pay is $35K per year, which could include cash bonus, stock, commission, profit sharing or tips."

It sure does and it's more apparent on the Sun Princess than ever before. They keep narrowing down the space for those lower class people with every ship build.
Being Elite these days doesn't mean that much any more.
It all boils down to $$$.

"In the afternoon hours today, the Central Port Authority of Chania was informed that a 29-year-old foreign crew member (specialty shop clerk) of a cruise ship with the Bermuda flag, which was docked at the port of Souda, needed immediate hospital treatment. The 29-year-old was picked up by a private ambulance and taken to a private clinic."

It sure does when they take space away from the other passengers & sell it to paying customers.
