I'm expecting that the head chef will be given a very tight daily food budget per passenger and a smaller daily food budget per crew member.  I wouldn't be surprised to see that day's remaining food being recycled in the buffet the next day.  Head chefs are known to receive generous bonuses for meeting and exceeding corporate food budget benchmarks.

"Isafjordur, a town in Iceland’s northwest Westfjords region, has become popular with tourists who want to see fjords or mountains.

The town has said it expects to see 255,000 cruise passengers a year but has introduced some limits."

"Under a new cruise policy, the town will limit the number of visitors who can travel each day and will be capped at 5,000 passengers.
