It's hard for me to conceive but people seem to be treating the medallion as a credit card with no limits.  :o
Maybe it's the mentality of majority to think of it as free money until the bill comes due.
Live for today & let it ride.  ::)

The more I read about all these new amenities, the less I'm inclined I am to want them.

I'm so glad I missed the show.
And who the heck is Hannah Waddingham ?
Should I be impressed. ???

Hmmmm, so only those willing to pay for a better view get the better spots even if I'm willing to stand in there for hours on end. >:(
Every day there's something else that's driving me away from Princess.
That's not to mention the $149 p/p charge for Love by Britto or Spellbound.  :-\

While they'll never resort to calling it "steerage", it's not to far from being that lately.

Perhaps I'm being too much of a nitpicker, but everything from excursions to enhanced dining seems to have
increased substantially.
I just returned from my barber & they've increased their prices for the second time this year.
Where does it end?  :-\

 >:( They're slowly chipping away at all the things we used to enjoy on Princess as being included. In the very near future cruising will return to being reserved only for the very rich.

Not that this applies directly to me as we don't reserve sanctuary seating but more and more Princess is beginning to revert to the days of old, similar to the ships of the early 1900's.

"Guests staying in a stateroom or suite designated as part of the Sanctuary Collection will enjoy exclusive access to the ship's top-deck retreat area, along with several additional amenities including a private dining room, priority specialty restaurant reservations, premium stateroom amenities, and a complimentary Princess Premier bundle."

I wonder what included in their Princess Premier bundle?

We pretty much eliminate most of the people with nasty habits by by getting to the food when they open for service.
Mainly lunch at 11:30 and a few dinners every now and then.

The only thing different that I see is that in the buffet area the food is served rather than self service. It might result in smaller sized portions.
I still prefer to serve myself so I can take only a small amount of interesting things and if I like it go back for a regular size amount.
If I'm serviced a large amount of something I don't care for, it goes in the garbage.
We'll have to see in Nov.
First time for us also.

I'm wondering if the new way of serving food on the Sun Princess buffet will mean smaller portions or just force people to go through the line more times.

Once again, I think we'll be skipping it until everyone on board learns the ropes & all venues are operational.
I've never understood the appeal of being the first to sail on a new ship.  ???

All their writeups sound similar.
I'm still undecided if we'll like this new design or not.
Time will tell.

This seems to be a growing trend in many ports these days.

Here in Florida we get numerous snowbirds from up north (Canada, upper US and even Germany) every year for about 5 months beginning in Nov through April.
Our economy seems to thrive on it although I don't see the benefit directly.
We manage to adjust our schedules very nicely but it is more peaceful during our summer season.
