"Due to technical delays, we are still working to finalize shoreside tendering operations involving embarkation and debarkation on the ship. Until that is completed, we regrettably will not be able to call to Santorini, including the visit scheduled for Saturday, March 16. "

“But the thing that is annoying me is their wine pricing. Especially when they are charging $15 a glass, and $64 a bottle for wines that are just the bottled version of De Bortoli cask wines. And those retail for $20-22 for a four-litre cask at Dan Murphy’s.”

Jester chooses not to opt for a pre-cruise package with Princess due to the rise in package prices. And on top of that, she doesn’t want to pay for inclusions she doesn’t see value in.

“At the original USD$40 per day, then USD$50, the Plus package was exceptionally good value despite the poor quality and very limited selection of wines under that package. "

“However, there are a few areas onboard that will not be fully operational during your cruise, including elements of Park19, Spellbound by Magic Castle and the production shows planned for The Dome and The Arena, which are in rehearsal and not yet available,” Princess explained.

The company also highlighted the guests’ participation as the very first guests onboard the Sun Princess.

“In appreciation of being among the first to sail onboard the new Sun Princess and to express our gratitude for your understanding, each stateroom will receive a $120 USD onboard credit,” Princess said."

Sun Princess Chatter / The cabana-style TV room is not private

"The cabana-style TV room is not private, as anyone walking on the sun deck will directly pass in front of the patio or be able to get a glimpse into the windowed TV room, which is not shielded by curtains. The main interior of the room, however, does have curtains."

"The ship offers more for younger cruisers than previous ships including a family activity zone called Park19 that runs across the ship’s three top decks. That includes an adventurous ride that’s a mashup of a zipline and hang glider called the Sea Breeze as well as a climbing structure called Coastal Climb."

"Unlike its sister ships, the vessel was custom-built to sail in the Caribbean and other tropical destinations.

As such, it originally features a series of tweaks, including a larger amount of open deck spaces, an additional outside pool deck and a new alfresco restaurant."

Every day I'm reading something new that makes me think that cruising is returning to a rich mans way of traveling.
Pretty soon we'll be left behind & limited to only going to the local beach for a vacation.
