It worked but other than for entering the cabin & locating your cabin mate it doesn't seem to offer much over the cruise card. It was just something else to carry around all day. I did make a magnetic thing to stick it on my shirt like a badge so I would have to wear one of their necklaces or buy of of their overpriced accessories.

They also need many more sensors since using it to find your shipmate is sketchy at best. It provides a general location but nothing exact as I though it would. At least it gives a deck & general area which is better than looking around the whole ship. It'll give you a location like show lounge, which when almost filled is next to impossible to actually find anyone. I suppose when they get it working better they'll improve upon it.
One really bad feature about it is, if you should lose your medallion, anyone who finds it can go directly to your cabin & enter it unless you report it immediately. Although the cabin number is not printed on the medallion, any of the boards around the ship will give you the exact cabin location. Very poorly thought out.
When I brought it to the attention of the PSD they didn't consider it to be a problem, so I asked when they would start printing the cabin number on the cruise cards.

I'm sure they have to make a change in their software & boards very shortly.
