“I just don’t want them,” said Councilmember Kristen Sneddon, who added that she would support an even lower limit of 18 ships a year. “I just don’t believe that these large cruise ships fit in Santa Barbara. This is something that has been clear to me for decades.”

They'll be crying the blues after the shop owners & tour operators aren't making the same profits.
We have the same problem here in Florida with the winter snowbirds. We just adjust our schedule to work around them, like visits to restaurants, travel to stores, etc.
It's part of life. Deal with it.
