'Princess Cruises lines up an array of short cruises from Melbourne for cruise passengers wanting for a quick getaway. The line’s best value offering is its summer holiday cruise featuring a 4-Day Australia Seacation. This Melbourne to Brisbane sailing is offered at a starting rate of $238 per guest. Moreover, this cruise is scheduled to depart from its port of embarkation on December 7 via Diamond Princess.

In addition, Princess Cruises also highlights a 5-Day Southern Australia Seacation as part of its spring offering. I find it almost impossible to do any future cruise planning's without the spreadsheet.
If you rely the Princess web site you're in the dark, not knowing which ships are sailing during any period without extensive searching.

"The lovely Discovery Princess, the second newest cruise ship among Princess Cruises’ fleet, is one of the most elegant I’ve voyaged on — and I’ve been on 10+ cruises (read: best cruises I reviewed). So, you can say I’ve become quite the cruise critic over the years."

Princess News & General Princess Chatter / Unofficial schedule update status
« Last post by Host Mike on May 08, 2024, 04:39:18 PM »
Now working, ship by ship, on updating the unofficial daily schedule.  On some ships there are plenty of changes.

Here's my slow progress.  I will publish when the update is finished.

Caribbean Princess - Done (Some changes)
Coral Princess - Done (In 2026 the Coral will be transiting through Red Sea waters ! !)
Crown Princess - Done (2026 back to the Red SeaShip goes missing from the schedule between Dec 21,2025 and March 21, 2026
Diamond Princess - Done (no major changes)
Discovery Princess - Done (no change)
Emerald Princess - Done (no change)
Grand Princess - Done (Daily schedule after Sept 15, 2025 N/A until May 16, 2024)
Island Princess - Done (So many changes, so many changes) (my head is now mush)
Majestic Princess - Done (a couple of extras added to the end)
Regal Princess - Done (1 adder at the end)
Royal Princess - Done (On May 7, 2025 there's no disembarkation from Hawaii to LA but there is an embarkation for the next cruise.  From February, 2026 onward I don't trust the disappearing Princess online schedule)
Ruby Princess - Done (no changes)
Sapphire - Done (moves to Antarctic in early 2026)
Sky - Done (no changes)
Star - Done (no changes after Ft Lauderdale in November 2025)
Sun - Done

Now waiting for the Grand Princess to update their San Juan schedule.

"Of Majestic Princess, Royal Princess, Grand Princess and Coral Princess, only Royal will be returning to Australia next season. However, Diamond Princess and Crown Princess will be joining the party.

Then another shake up will happen in 2025/2026, when Royal and Diamond make way, but Grand Princess returns, and Discovery Princess excitingly arrives for the first time in Australia.

While both the following years will represent a decrease in Australian capacity for Princess, from October 2024, Crown Princess will be sailing year-round in Australia. Furthermore, Discovery Princess will represent the biggest Princess ship to home port in Australia, marking the cruise lines intention to promote cruising in the region."
