"Visitors to a tiny beach in Cornwall were greeted with the surreal sight of a giant 113,000 tonnes cruise ship today (Thursday, May 16). Too big to dock in the harbour, the 952ft Caribbean Princess dropped its anchor off a small cove on the Roseland peninsula, using St Anthony Head to shelter from strong south-easterly winds whilst it tendered its passengers to Falmouth."

In a notification sent to passengers, a spokesperson said: “Please be advised that due to recent restrictions on cruise ships in Rockland, Maine, Enchanted Princess will no longer call to Rockland on Tuesday, September 3 and will instead call to Eastport, Maine.

“Additionally, we will no longer call at Newport, Rhode Island on Sunday, September 1 and will instead spend the day at sea.”

MarineTraffic.com reports that Sapphire Princess is currently sailing at 13 knots.  Ship bridge camera description says Sapphire Princess is now bound for Whittier.  Previous schedule said that they will dock on Saturday.  It appears that Glacier Bay and College Fjord could be now off the schedule. We've heard that passengers will receive a big part of their fare refunded along with a large FCC.

"QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – A man fell overboard on a cruise ship and into the East River in Queens Sunday night, according to the NYPD.

It happened around 10:24 p.m. in the area of Newtown Creek and 54th Avenue. The 36-year-old man fell off of the Majestic Princess cruise ship, according to authorities."
